A Post...what a novel concept *g*
Trying to get myself to remember to come to IJ every once in a while (I paid for the account FCOL, might as well use it ;).
Current Events:
I have always been and will always be a Beatles/McCartney fan, but every once in a while the bug bites me a bit harder than others, so I've been drowning my recent sorrow with the Colts' playoff loss by buying all kinds of Beatles DVDs -- already been through the whole Anthology, have practically watched A Hard Days Night and Help off the discs and the DVD that accompanied Paul's latest CD is getting a good workout. Ordered 2 more DVDs which should be here in the next few days (it left a processing center I could drive to in 1 hour, so obviously it's going to take the USPS a week to get it here :P).
At this rate of sorrow-drowning, I may be broke by the time the Colts play their first pre-season game. *snort*

Based on this prompt: 'Post DH Angst and H/C fic: Remus survived the battle. He or someone else finds Severus close to death, but alive. Because of trauma, blood loss, etc. Severus is in a poor way both physically and psychologically (PTSD, brain damage, or something along those lines). Remus takes care of him. Lots of angst and h/c, but with a happy or hopeful ending'
41,000+ words of pure angsty, romantic bliss with a generous dollop of h/c! :))
Wonderful characterizations. Great explanations and remedies for some of the more depressing/disappointing aspects of DH. Romantic aspects were very well written and realistic.
I'm unable to completely convey how wonderfully written I feel this fic was. Hell, my Secret Santa even managed to write a fic where I wasn't able to completely loathe the Malfoys -- this is a huge accomplishment in my book. ;)
